FORMATION
Maxsym Engine Technology Ltd was formed in 1996.

SMART AWARD WINNER
Maxsym received a SMART Award from the DTI in 1996 to develop its innovative balancing system.  In April 2004 it was awarded a Research & Development Grant to develop the MC4 engine.

JOINT VENTURE WITH UNIPART
Maxsym is a £1.5m Joint Venture with UGC Ltd (Unipart Group of Companies) – one of the UK’s largest independent companies and global supplier of components to the automotive industry www.unipart.co.uk.

MEMBER OF THE MOTORSPORT INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION
Maxsym is a member of the Motorsport Industry Association (MIA), the business support service which promotes and protects the interests of companies in the motorsport industry.

BASED IN MOTORSPORT VALLEY
Maxsym is based in North Oxfordshire at the centre of the UK’s Motorsport Valley – home to the world’s leading race engine specialists – with direct access to a highly competent world class supplier base.

MEMBER OF IMD GROUP
(INTERNATIONAL MOTORCYCLE DESIGN)
IMD Group is a consortium of industry specialists assembled to provide whole vehicle design and development services to motorcycle & ATV OEMs. Alongside Maxsym, consortium members include Vepro Ltd and Renfrew Stylengineering.

Vepro specialises in design (including chassis), simulation, project management, manufacturing process knowledge and homologation www.vepro.co.uk. Renfrew specialises in concept work, body styling, pattern & tool making, rapid prototyping and injection moulding www.renfrew.co.uk.
