MAXSYM 4-STROKES REPLACE 2-STROKES
Following the automotive experience, environmental legislation is forcing the off-highway and recreational markets to find new ways to reduce exhaust emissions. Although 4-stroke engines use inherently cleaner technology, the 2-strokes that currently dominate these markets have traditionally offered higher power outputs in smaller, lighter packages. Maxsym's 4-strokes are always designed to produce equal power outputs in 'lighter than 2-stroke' packages.

UNIQUE PROPRIETARY TECHNOLOGY
Maxsym has developed a portfolio of proprietary technology that includes:

Balance System
A patented integrated balance system, which completely cancels both primary and secondary inertial vibration forces. This novel yet simple system allows conventional engines to operate at higher speeds and produce more power.

Monobloc cylinder head
Maxsym's monobloc designs dramatically reduce parts count, cost and weight whilst improving durability. They provide increased structural stiffness, optimised cooling, reduced cylinder bore distortion and negate the need for a cylinder head gasket.

Dry sump system
Dry sump systems, designed and developed on Maxsym prototype engines and validated for racing applications by several British and World Championship sidecar contenders.

This technology and other proprietary designs have been brought together in Maxsym's awesome racing engines - the GP500 & GP600 - as the ultimate showcase for Maxsym's capabilities.

HIGH PERFORMANCE
High volumetric efficiency is always designed into Maxsym's engines. When combined with the ability to operate at high speeds due to Maxsym's unique balancing system, the result is ultra high performance.

ULTRA LIGHT WEIGHT IN OPTIMAL PACKAGE
Maxsym’s balancing and monobloc technology affords flexibility in the choice of engine configuration for particular uses. The optimum engine package shape can be adopted for each application. All our engines have been lighter than the 2-stroke engines they were built to replace.

LOW COST
Maxsym's designs include many features that help to reduce cost in production:

Minimum parts count
Low complexity
Light weight
Conventional assembly process
Proven technology

In addition, when compared to 2-strokes, 4-strokes give reduced cost of ownership, principally through vastly superior fuel economy.

PRODUCTION FEASIBILITY
Maxsym's engines may be technologically advanced, but they remain totally conventional. All engines are designed, from the concept phase onwards, with volume production in mind.
